The handler & a back up companion made their way over to me (first, again, apparently I picked the perfect viewing spot!) to show the second eagle to be released, up close. It was a young 4 year old Adult Male Eagle that had a broken wing. He was smaller. They shared that his feathers will eventually turn completely white, and that he had a funny personality. It was clear they invested extra care in this lucky guy, look closely at the interactions.
